Ice keeps moving across the Riverina, and from May 2025 it's Smith's Ice behind the deliveries.
We've taken over Riverina Ice, the Wagga Wagga business that's supplied the region for more than 30 years from its site at 2 Mortimer Place. For customers, the important thing is what hasn't changed. Same premises. Same trucks on the same runs. Same ice. If you order from the depot, nothing about your deliveries is any different.
What's new is the operation behind it. Smith's Ice has made ice on the NSW/Victoria border since 1985, and the Wagga depot now runs with that backing. That means a bigger fleet and more capacity. I've relocated to Wagga to run the depot, so there's an owner on the ground rather than someone managing it from a distance.
